Last month we took a little weekend trip up to Washington, D.C. to see the cherry blossoms. Oftentimes the biggest expense of any trip away from home is the cost of accommodations. Why does it cost so much to just sleep and shower anyway? Luckily for us millennials we have been gifted with Airbnb. It’s one of the most inexpensive, comfortable, and innovative ways to experience a new city.
We stayed at Erin’s designer condo in Arlington, VA when we visited D.C. last month. Her place was darling and very fitting to our needs. It was located only 10 minutes outside of quaint Georgetown, and was only a 15 minute subway ride from the city. We would highly recommend this location for anyone visiting D.C. Arlington, as a suburb of D.C., has its own unique charm and is chock full of great eats, shops, parks, and attractions.
Erin’s apartment was so charming, full of natural light, and organized in a way that utilized every square inch of space (without feeling cluttered). It was no surprise when Erin later mentioned to us that she is an interior designer for a living. Our favorite feature in her home has got to be those beautiful herringbone bathroom floors!
